Tiare K. Romero
Tiare has extensive experience in strategic human resources, employee relations, compensation management, training and development, recruitment, administration of HR practices, policies, and procedures and leadership of other HR professionals.
Tiare joined Comcast in 1999 as a Customer Account Executive. Since that time, she held various positions including HR Generalist, HR Supervisor, HR Manager, and Regional Director of HR for New Mexico, Arizona and Southern Colorado.
In May 2007, Tiare was selected to represent Comcast’s West Division on a corporate project to implement a new company-wide human resource management system. This new system integrated many existing people-related systems, including human resources, learning, recruitment, payroll and performance management for over 100,000 employees. Tiare provided functional expertise and Comcast business knowledge to help design best practice processes, allowing the company to maximize the functionality of the new HR platform.
In January of 2010, Tiare joined Heritage Home Healthcare and Hospice as Director of Human Resources. In this role, she provides leadership in developing and executing human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of compensation, benefits, talent management, employee engagement, health and safety, training and development, policy administration, and HR compliance.
Tiare received a Certificate in Human Resources from the University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix. She is certified through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
Tiare’s passion outside of work is spending time with her two sons, Daniel (12) and Derek (8) and her Fiancé, Isaac. They love to travel and spend time outdoors, rock climbing and skiing.
